So, here's how it all started...

Imagine a 12-year old kid, influenced by Punk and edgy pop - you know, the Sex Pistols, The Stranglers, The Police... I wanted a white Fender Precision, just like I saw all the guys playing on TV - (wait you say! That's a bass!?)... I know right! But I didn't get that bass - my family couldn't afford one of those. Instead I got an old Spanish acoustic that cost about 20 Pounds, that I had to share with my sister! So anyway, I kind of got to grips with that and then began exploring other music with the help of school pals and their older brothers - The Ramones, Neil Young, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, UFO and so many more... And basically once I had discovered Ritchie Blackmore, Van Halen, Gary Moore, David Gilmour - and my all-time fave, Michael Schenker, there was no turning back... The rest, as they say, is history! Fast forward a few decades (almost 4 at the time of writing) and here I am, still loving guitar, playing whenever possible and teaching between 50 - 60 private students every week, one-on-one!
